I need to hear from others that used principles of IE and eventually stopped emotional eating and successfully did IE and their body didn't keep gaining weight.  I really need to hear from others because I'm terrified of the weight gain.  Worried to let go of diet food and worried about eating high calorie food because that's what my body is craving.  Is anyone successful with this and if you are, how long did it take and did you gain weight at first?  I know it's not about the weight but I want to be healthy and really don't want to go out and get a new larger wardrobe.

I did not have the intention to watch the entire video right now but once I started watching I was hooked! Trying to absorb all I can.

Very cool! I went to school here a long time ago and is where I first learned about IE! Very thankful too!

I've watched this twice now and I'm thankful to have something to watch when my mind wanders to counting calories or points or carbs or fat.  Thank you for being a voice of reason.  I thought of calorie counting again and instead of going down that rabbit h***, I came to this site.  It really is a blessing to know it is here.

WOW! This is like a mini-course on IE and hits on almost all the questions we have etc. Loved watching it - Evelyn is such an energetic speaker. Do be aware that its 1 1/2 hrs. long so set aside time to view so you can really enjoy and appreciate all that you can gleam from it too.

Bravo and thanks Evelyn!!

Introducing IE principles in a fun and supported way.

Hi all, I'm sharing here an idea I'm going to experiment with to hopefully recruit some of you into participating, as I would love to hear your feedback since you all are familiar with IE already. I'm a holistic health counselor and have really changed my path now that I've learned about IE. I've been collaborating with a local women who does Equine Assisted Learning and we've been trying to blend our work together into different workshops/retreats, etc. Getting people to read the book, ask me…See More

WW + IE Simultaneously

I lent my friend my IE book, which she read. She said she is going to sign up for WW and plans to do WW and IE simultaneously. I told her it is not possible to do them simultaneously, considering that the first IE principle is to get rid of diet mentality. I also talked about the principle of honoring your hunger. How can you do that if you've used up your points for the day? WW is an external locus of control. IE is an internal locus of control.See More
